By train from Schiphol Airport
In the airport you follow the signs "to the trains". In the main hall of Schiphol railway station you buy your ticket to either HEILOO or ALKMAAR (see below) First you take a train to AMSTERDAM-SLOTERDIJK from Platform 1 (12 min. travel time). In AMSTERDAM-SLOTERDIJK you get off and go to Platform 3. Now you may choose from two options:
HEILOO-option: For this option you need to use a mobile phone. Take a train in the direction ALKMAAR that stops in Heiloo (travel time 29 min.). Heiloo is the last stop before Alkmaar. In Heiloo call Taxi Baaij, tel: (+31) 072-5071328. Taxi cost is approximately € 15,00 per ride (max 4 persons) to Hotel Zuiderduijn at the Zeeweg in Egmond aan Zee.

By bus
ALKMAAR-option: Take a train to Alkmaar (travel time 35 min. or 24 min.). In Alkmaar take bus 165 to Egmond aan Zee (travel time 22 min.). Ask the driver to drop you off near Hotel Zuiderduin at the Zeeweg.
Shuttle service from Railway station Alkmaar to Hotel Zuiderduin
Shuttle service will be organised from the railway station in Alkmaar to Hotel Zuiderduin. Detailed information on the exact time-schedule will be given 1 week before the conference.

By car
From Amsterdam in north-west direction (A9): Choose direction Alkmaar, choose direction Heiloo/Den Helder at the roundabout near Alkmaar. At the 3rd traffic light turn left, exit Egmond. Next, follow the signs Egmond aan Zee. In Egmond aan Zee, follow the signs Centrum (=city centre) and a successive sign with: Strand Zuid. You arrive at the Admiraal de Ruyterweg. This road becomes the Zeeweg. The hotel appears at the right-hand side after approximately 200 meters.
The hotel has a parking garage.
